Thailand has one of the most openly gay societies in the world, transsexuals are included in Thai culture via television and cabaret shows. The concerts feature great music, graceful dance and elaborately dressed performers who take pride in the fact that they cannot be told apart from women. Muay Thai - Thai Kick Boxing

Muay Thai (Thai Kick Boxing), the martial art of Muay Thai, was an element made compulsory for military training by King Naresuan. The fights are commonly fierce and furious though the best boxers display remarkable skills, as well as great fitness and a good contest is decided by application of technique rather than brute force.

Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand and popular with all Thais, the results of all fights are published in Thai national newspapers and live fights are televised five nights a week. Ratchadamnoen and Lumphini boxing stadiums in Bangkok are the most famous in Thailand. Between them, they offer professional bouts virtually every night of the week.
